Oregon School Based Health Alliance welcomes a new Social Media Intern, Haylee Williams to our team. We are all excited to work with her this year. Over the past year Haylee has dedicated most of her time to serving on the Statewide Youth Action Council. On the council she has had the opportunity to host health events, create and execute trainings for local health care workers, participate in youth health advocacy at the Capitol and testify on behalf of OSBHA student health care bills. She has volunteered for numerous organizations from running blood drives for the Red Cross to leading a Nike basketball camp for disabled youth, to sitting on the PSU youth council and organizing their GIRLS Leadership summit. She aspires to continue her work in public health and attend university for family medicine studies. In the meantime she is working, and applying for scholarships and has become the OSBHA social media intern to empower youth and connect them with community health resources and other youth advocates.
