Meeting Invitation for SBHCs, CCOs, and LPHAs

You are here

Are you a school-based health center interested in building a stronger relationship with your Coordinated Care Organization?

Are you a CCO or Local Public Health Authority interested in learning more about school-based health centers and how they can help improve health in your region?

The Oregon School-Based Health Alliance (OSBHA), in partnership with the Oregon Health Authority, SBHC State Program Office, has just the opportunity for you. We are offering our assistance in helping to convene discussions between Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs), School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs) and Local Public Health Authorities (LPHAs) as well as other key partners to discuss the role of school-based health centers in health system transformation.

Key topics

  • PCP assignment
  • Care coordination
  • Maximizing the adolescent well visit
  • Integration of mental or dental services with primary care
  • Increasing access to care
  • SBHC reimbursement for services
  • Other topics relevant to your community

What is our role?

At no cost to you…
  • OSBHA will work with participants to design a partnership meeting focused on topics important to your community.
  • We will craft an agenda that is based on questions, concerns, and opportunities in the region.
  • We will coordinate meeting logistics including identifying appropriate facilitators and speakers (if appropriate).
  • We will provide a report of meeting conversations and identify possible next steps related to meeting discussions, as well as draft a work plan for how to move forward.
