Training Opportunity: Our Whole Lives

You are here

The Oregon School-Based Health Alliance is excited to help promote the facilitator training for the Our Whole Lives curriculum that is being co-hosted by the First Congregational Church and Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon in Eugene!

Our Whole Lives is a series of education programs to be used in the affirming and supportive setting of our churches that equips participants with accurate, age-appropriate information in: human development, relationships, personal skills, sexual behavior, sexual health, and society and culture.  Resources provide accurate information for parents, teachers and pastors. Grounded in a holistic view of sexuality, Our Whole Lives not only provides facts about anatomy and human development, but also helps participants clarify their values, build interpersonal skills, and understand the spiritual, emotional, and social aspects of sexuality.

The 3 day training is November 14-16, 2014. The registration deadline is November 7th. Find more information about the OWL curriculum and facilitator training here.
