YAC Summit

 

Does your school-based health center support a Youth Action Council? Students from across the state are invited to participate in a YAC Summit.

What: This interactive day-long Youth Action Council Summit will provide an opportunity for students to connect with other youth leaders and learn more about improving access to health services in their communities. This year's theme is "Blossoming Into Leadership", and we will have interactive workshops and presentations focused on building leadership skills, navigating and advocating for health services, project planning, and S.M.A.R.T. goals.

 

This year, we will also have a track for YAC Coordinators and those who are considering starting YACs.

When: Friday, November 8, 2019, 9:30am-4:00pm
